Introduction Across South Australia, many children living with disadvantage face barriers that limit their access to education, enrichment, and the simple joy of participating in activities that help them grow. I Believe, You Believe, We Believe Ltd exists to break down those barriers — one opportunity at a time. Our charity is built on a powerful truth: when you empower a child, you transform a future.

Our Story As a long‑time Kinship Carer, our founder and Chairperson, Dawn Hawthorn‑Jackson has seen firsthand how financial hardship can prevent children from accessing essential educational and activity opportunities. Through years of supporting children and working alongside carers and government departments, Dawn recognised a gap — and decided to fill it. I Believe, You Believe, We Believe Ltd was created to ensure that no child misses out on opportunities that help them learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Purpose We provide funding for educational and activity opportunities for children living with disadvantage. Our programs are designed to support learning, development, social connection, and confidence.

Our Four Programs

1. Learning Legends Supports children with learning and skill‑building opportunities. Examples: maths tutoring, driving lessons and TAFE fees.
2. Terra Techs Provides access to technology and digital learning tools. Examples: maths and English software, podcasting equipment, computers and iPads.
3. Sensory Stars Helps children who benefit from sensory tools or therapeutic support. Examples: wobble stools, sensory bean bags, headphones, speech therapy and occupational therapy.
4. Social Shakers Encourages social participation, creativity, and confidence. Examples: club memberships, cooking lessons, dance lessons and music lessons.

Why Our Work Matters Children living with disadvantage often miss out on opportunities that many others take for granted. A tutoring session, a music lesson, a piece of technology or a sensory aid can be the spark that changes everything. By funding these experiences, we help children build confidence, develop new skills, strengthen social connections, discover passions, and feel included and supported.
